Connecting Bayview

Kūmānu led a project to install a 375mm watermain connection, a critical piece of infrastructure designed to service the new Bayview subdivision in Atawhai. This significant undertaking involved detailed planning to integrate the new main with the existing water supply network, while ensuring minimal disruption to residents and traffic. The installation of a large-diameter main like this required specialist expertise to manage traffic, deep trenching, dewatering, and the precise laying and jointing of the pipe to guarantee the long-term integrity and pressure stability required for this growing residential area.
